Moonlight Designs: focusing on what counts.Moonlight Designs came into being shortly after art director, Anne Barca graduated from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale with an associate's degree in advertising design in 1986. Freelance design is something most graphic artists do whether or not they have a full time job and Anne learned about freelancing at the Art Institute. After art school, she went to Florida State University to get a bachelor's degree. During that time she took on a freelance position as a designer at a Tallahassee ad agency. She graduated from FSU in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in studio art at which time she moved to Miami to work full time in an ad agency. You don't need to hear about every position she has ever held, just that Moonlight Designs has been Anne's freelance business through the years while she has gained valuable knowledge in the design, photography and printing industries. She has kept up with continuing education through seminars, online courses and college classes. Now it's time for Moonlight Designs to become Anne's full time job. Design is her passion and she is compelled to design by her nature. Speaking of Anne's nature, she's a hippy-chick. She has always been eco-friendly. Her car is a four-cylinder, she recycles, and spends her leisure time exploring and photographing the more remote parts of Florida in her kayak, on her off road bike or on foot with her loyal canine buddy, Tiffany. She's a tree-hugger, a liberal and an avid outdoors woman who recently acquired a scooter. In recent months, Moonlight Designs has started marketing itself as eco-friendly, although it has been eco-friendly all along. Anne and Moonlight Designs are one and the same and if your business is eco-friendly, Moonlight Designs wants to work for you!!!
